Adam Ali returns to Steller ranks with Daniel Ali and Lorcan Hanafin for GT World Challenge Europe finale

Adam Ali will return to the Steller Motorsport ranks for the GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup season finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 10-12 October, racing alongside his brother Daniel Ali and Lorcan Hanafin.

Adam Ali made his debut with the team last month, when Steller Motorsport made a wildcard appearance in the International GT Open series. The Canadian driver raced alongside his younger brother, Daniel, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to gain experience with the team's Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

Steller Motorsport heads into the final GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS round looking to end the season strongly, with a young and eager driver lineup and valuable data from the Spanish circuit.

Adam Ali, “It’s great to be racing with Steller Motorsport for another weekend and I’m excited to drive the team’s Corvette again. Being back at Barcelona is obviously very beneficial, too, as we have some existing experience and data from the circuit, and hopefully this will give us a good starting point going into this event, and I hope I can help the Steller team end their GT World Challenge Europe season on a high.”

Daniel Ali, “I’m excited for the final round of the year and to get back to Barcelona with the Corvette. One challenge this year has been turning up to new circuits with a new car, but for this event we have some prior experience and knowledge and this should give us a good base to work from."

Lorcan Hanafin, “At the last endurance round, at the Nürburgring, we suffered a fair amount of bad luck, and I want to make amends in Barcelona. The team has obviously benefited from some additional track time in Barcelona, which helps us when we roll out of pit lane for the first practice session. We started this season off with a podium and I want to finish the year strongly with the Steller team.”

Team manager, Max Daymond, “Having prior circuit knowledge and experience as a team is hopefully going to benefit us this weekend. Obviously, one of the challenges of running a new car this year has been arriving at circuits for the first time with it and learning from the first practice session. This weekend we have more data to draw from and we can start the weekend on a more equal footing. We have seen the benefits of this already, with the podium at Paul Ricard. We’ve got a young driver lineup but the talent is there and I’m looking forward to getting going again this weekend."

The three-hour endurance race begins at 15:00 local time on Sunday 12 October.
