Dennis Lind joins Steller Motorsport for three-day Barcelona test
Steller Motorsport is already looking ahead to the 2026 season, with Danish driver Dennis Lind joining the British team for a three-day test at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, beginning Monday 17 November.
Lind will bring significant GT3 experience to the team, with a CV that includes titles in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe and the World Final in 2016, GT World Challenge Asia in 2018, and British GT with the GT3 Pro-Am title in 2021, plus a myriad of race wins in GT competition. His experience, insight, speed, and feedback will help Steller continue to develop its Corvette package ahead of 2026.
At the test the team will run both of its Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs, as it looks to waste no time in building on a solid debut year in GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS and its first season with Corvette machinery.
A second car will be shared by multiple drivers over the course of the test, led by British youngster Lorcan Hanafin, who contested the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe series with Steller Motorsport. The programme will allow the team to evaluate potential driver combinations and continue development work.
Max Daymond, Steller Motorsport team manager, said, “These three days mark the start of our 2026 campaign. Having Dennis with us is an exciting and important step; his experience in GT3 racing is obviously extensive, and his speed is without question. His input will be incredibly valuable for us as we continue to develop the car and prepare for next year. We’re also pleased to continue our collaboration with Lorcan, who did a great job for us this year, and to assess a number of drivers as we shape our plans for next season.”
Dennis Lind added, "Obviously I'm very excited to do the test with the Steller team and with a new car for me. It’s been a while since I’ve sat in a racecar, but I hope I can provide the team with some valuable data and feedback, and I am sure I’ll have a lot of fun as well."
The three-day test at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya runs from 17-19 November and represents the first step of Steller Motorsport’s preseason testing programme, as the team targets a strong second year in GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.
